This sad appeal convinced Pratap that his Ajab was going to an extent that she should not take. He immediately called Shakti and told his plan.
The next day, both the brothers were on the way to Bijolia. They were on the borders. Pratap on Chetak rushed inside the palace gate while Shakti with Sarang waited in the main gate.

Phool ran to Ajabde where she saw Ajabde busy crying. For the next few minutes she was with her.

Meanwhile Pratap was ready on the door of the palace with his Chetak. She was decked up like she descended from heaven. She went and sat next to Toranmal. The prayers were chanted and it was time for sindoor daan.
Pratap ascended Chetak and knocked into the palace in between the crowd. Ajabde was dizzy and was about to fall when Pratap caught Ajabde and made her sit on Chetak and used the reins. They escaped successfully.
Hansa Bai and Rao Mamrak were happy for her daughter; after all she would lead a happy life. The others cursed them and left. But the curse had no effect on the two the happy parents.
Humne kaha tha na ki hum ayenge….
