CoS 28- UNDER NATURE CUSTODY

Today too I anticipated something really nice. I was waiting to know about the story more. The more I visited the land the more I wanted to know. I could not believe that in past I loved Pratap so much.  I was taken to the love world. This was the first part for the day.

The journey to Chittor began. When the people heard about their favourite son’s arrival they prepared grandly for the welcome. More than the people two people were happy. One, Sajja Bai who was Pratap’s manjali maa and second, Shakti Singh, Pratap’s brother. He was not happy because Pratap was returning after a long time but because he was going to meet his admirer, Phool.

She was happy too. Very soon she would meet Shakti Singh, love of her life. Ajabde was happy to visit Chittor. If at all she would know that she was to live in Chittor for her life time then surely she would be very excited. Pratap too was very very happy to meet his mother’s especially his chotimaa.

All the preparation was made to proceed to Chittor. With heavy heart both Hansa and Rao Mamrak bid farewell to Pratap and the king and the queen. It was a sad moment. Gauhar Jaan too accompanied them to Chittor.

It was decided to have a night stay at a place near to the Chittor borders. Chakrapani and Saubhagyawati joined them there to Chittor. Shakti anxious meet Phool came there to spend his night without any one’s knowledge in the palace.

Pratap convinced Ajabde to come with him to his favourite place in the borders for the night. Ajabde too agreed to come along. Phool and Shakti sat by the lake and had a hearty conversation. Both the admirers expressed their feelings for each other without hesitation.

Chakrapani and Saubhagyawati too went along with Pratap and Ajabde. Pratap arranged for a boat ride in moon lite. Ajabde was really surprised to see Pratap’s arrangement. The boat was decorated with her favourite flowers and seat was made for two of them. Pratap rode the boat while Ajabde admiringly looked at him.

The next morning the city of Chittor welcomed their son after a long time. Dheer Bai did Pratap’s aarti and took him inside. Pratap was asked about his health and his war which was faked by Dheer bai.

After a day Ajabde was adjusted to the palace. She did not know how long she was to stay there in Chittor but she wanted to make every day memorable. Meanwhile Gauhar Jaan attacked on Pratap quite a few times. None of her plans worked well. Pratap though acted that he did not know all this but he knew everything. 

Pratap knew what he had to do. He went to Ajabde to tell her about the continuous attacks. According to him Ajabde was more intelligent than him and a better plan to catch the attacker.

Ajabde…

Kunwar Pratap aap…

He closes the door

Kunwar Pratap agar humse durr rahiye….magar

Apne dwar band kyu kiya??

Woh hume apse kuch avashyak baat karna hai….

Kaisi baat??

Ajabde…hume kayar mat samjiyega

Nahi samjhenge batayiye

Hum par jab se hum Chittor aaye hai tab se akraman ho raha hai…

Kya??

Haan…aur humara math yeh hai ki koi hum par isi mahel mein rehkar humla kar raha hai

Kunwar Pratap yeh toh hai….magar apko koi chot toh nahi aayi??

Nahi nahi Ajabde….baar baar hum bach gaye

Accha hua varna humara kya hota….

Ajabde apko chinta karne ki ko avashyakata nahi hai….hum sadaiv apke sathaur paas rahenge

She reveals her idea to him.

Dhanyawad Ajabde……ab hum uss katil ko pakad hi lenge

Pratap eaves Ajabde all alone once again but then Phool comes to play and talk with Ajabde.

It was decided that once Pratap would knowingly fall in the culprits plan. Accordingly Pratap took the arrow which was aimed at him. Ajabde was hiding to save Pratap if it was deadly attack. Nothing happened to Pratap. No effect was there on Pratap.

Gauhar Jaan who saw Pratap walking again was furious. She had a question, why did Pratap not die because of the poison. The arrow was coated with her deadly venom. She did not know what the reason was. Once again her plan failed. Her mind diverted, she thought on how Pratap had escaped her poison previously. She identified that it was Ajabde who had saved him the last time.  She decided to finish her so that Pratap was killed.

Meanwhile Udai Singh and Jaiwanta had revealed about their choice of bride to all the others.

Dheer Bai ji, Sajja Bai ji, Veer Bai ji humne aur Jaiwanta Bai ji ne Kunwar Pratap ki bindani kaun hai uska nirnay le liya hai

Sach Ranaji?? Aur sacha hai toh kaun hai Kunwar Pratap ki bindani??

Haan Dheer Bai ji… woh Kunwar Pratap ki mitra hai aur bindani hai Ajabde

Kya??

Haan Dheer Bai ji…hume laga ki woh Kunwar Pratap ki patni banane ke liye aur Mewar ki Kunwarani banane ke liye sarvatra upukth hai

Agar aapne nirnay le liya hai toh hume koi apati nahi hai magar hume laga ki agar hum Kunwar Pratap ka vivaah Marwar ke Phool Kanwar se kara de toh Mewar aur Mawar ke beech samband sudar jayega….Ranaji aap iss Vishay mein sochiye.

Zaroor Dheer Bai ji

 All were happy except Dheer Bai Bhatyani. A simple reason was that she did not want another supporter of Jaiwanta Bai and she did not want a low class person in her palace again.

Rana Udai Singh decided to know about Pratap’s wishes and then about Ajabde’s and Phool’s wishes. Meanwhile Gauhar Jaan planned to kill Ajabde and eliminate her from her goal.

Leaving everything incomplete the book left me back on my study for rest.
