CoS 46- MOONLIGHT DINNER

The wait was over and I was to go to meet my ancestors for the last time and I would never know the rest of their love life or any thing. That was the last time. I was left in the wonder, warrior and love world.
The next morning was a hustle-bustle one. Ajabde got ready for her fast. She did her pooja and got ready in her wedding clothes as instructed. She went to the kitchen and made some Kheer for Pratap as told. Phool too came and made ghewar for Shakti. Both together went together to the temple where many had already gathered. They sat on their place as instructed.
Soon all the gents also joined. They went and sat beside their bride. It was evening by then all were waiting for the fast to break. The prayers were chanted and all of us went to the temple to break the fast.
After reaching there suddenly a Bhill lady exclaimed.
Arey Kunwaranisa aur choti Kunwaranisa aap dono ne sindoor nahi lagaya hai
Jayiye laga kar ayiye na
Nahi nahi…dono yahi rukiye…Kunwarsa, chote Kunwarsa aap hi unke maag mein sindoor bar dijiye…

They did as instructed. Now were were surely husband and wife.
Baisa, aap dono ne yeh kya kiya…
Sindoor nahi lagaya…
Accha hua ki isne dekh liya aur keh diya… warna anarth ho jata
Kshama kijiyega…hum dono ki abhi toh vivaah hua hai aur hume yeh sab kehne wala bhi toh nahi hai…isliye bul ho gayi
Thik hai baisa…
Aap yeh na kahe ki apko batane wala koi nahi hai…hum sab hai apke liye..

After the break of fast in which the men fed the women the food prepared by the women and then ate the rest, the happily married couple went to Meera maa’s temple the next day to get blessing from their mothers.
Rani Jaiwanta Bai and Rani Sajja Bai had gathered there knowing one day their son’s would come one day to meet them. They waited eagerly to meet them. Rani Dheer Bai did not come believing that the two were dead.
Their luck was good. Their wait was fruitful and their son’s had come but with their daughter-in-law.

Both the elders blessed their children and the children returned back to their huts.

Kunwar Pratap humne vachan diya….

Aise baate nahi karte…
Ajabde rests her head on his shoulder and he carcasses her. Both spend their time under the moonlight under the nature’s vision. They have their dinner and sleep there.

I was brought back to my world. The last time to visit the book was done. I was parted from a part of my life. It had become a part of my life.
